Zoey sleeps behind bars right now but did really well today with going out this morning on a leash. The Milkbone treats really help!

Zoey: Ready for Mischief
This is Zoey, the Bulldog, ready for her first day at home while her human is busy at the library. She had a rollicking trip across Washington state on Saturday with Boomer, who travelled with her. For pictures of the trip, click on Zoey's picture to take you to Flickr.

Welcome Zoey!
Zoey is a 1 1/2 year old brindle and white female English Bulldog who has just joined the family over in Pullman. She's tiny for a bulldog, weighing in at around 40 pounds. Although Christy has yet to meet her in person, the woman from the Cascade Bulldog Rescue and Rehome says that she is really sweet. We're really excited and we look forward to meeting her in person soon!

Doug in Dresden, January 2010
Because I forgot the battery recharger for the camera, we didn't get many pictures of our week in Germany, January 10-18. I snapped this shot of Doug with the Ford Focus (rather than the Porsche 912), getting ready to get back on the autobahn. We stayed at a bed and breakfast south of the city in a residential area and had another one of the best breakfasts ever. Boy do I love Germany!

Old Market in Charleston
While visiting Edward and Cary in Isle of Palms, SC, we went exploring today in Charleston and I snapped this picture of the Market. Afterwards we went to the Battery and to the Harris Teeter on East Bay Street to buy shrimp for shrimp and grits. Yum. Yum.
